Six years ago on this day I married my Ronald. In the past six years he has seen the best and the worst in me and he continues to love me. I am so grateful. I am so blessed.

Congraultations to Jennie & Mike!
Got back from a wedding in the city a couple hours ago. I've known Jennie since she was a baby. Her wedding to Mike was definitely urban chic from the venue which was in the atrium of the skyscraper nextdoor to the Sears Tower, to the band Sway Chicago (they were fantastic!), down to the wedding favors which were little bags of Garrett's Popcorn in what else but the Chicago Mix - CaramelCrisp® & CheeseCorn™, YUM. And for you Oprah fans, Garrett's has been on her favorite's list more than once.
This is my lucky capture of the day. At the start of the reception, the bride and groom just made their way down the escalator into the atrium and were on their way to the dance floor to have their first dance. I can't believe their hands came out in focus. I'm really proud of this one.
It'll be a pretty laid back 4th of July around here. Have a couple loads of laundry to do. Which reminds me . . . I really need to wash those new tees I bought for the kids from Old Navy so they can wear them on the 4th. I think we'll hang out with my sister and her fam and then catch fireworks in her town. Hope everyone has a fun and safe holiday weekend!
