Just a quick share for my sister-in-law because I know she's waiting to see some of the pictures I took of her kiddos.  This is Steph.  She is no longer that little baby that I remember with the crazy hair that would stick straight up.  And when she was three years old she would say that her Uncle Ronald was her best friend.  Goodness gracious, look what time did to her.  She's a stunning teenager.  How in the world did that happen???  Having fun trying out some new techniques with her photos.  Carlynn - I'll share more later.

Our computer's been very tempermental.  I'm trying so hard to catch up on emails and everything else that requires the use of the computer.  So if I owe you an email, I promise I'm working on it!  :o)

Happy Thanksgiving!

Another year full of blessings. So much to be thankful for. Right now I'm especially grateful for my cousin's Jello dessert. (Aimee, if you're reading this, you're missing out. Haha.) I'm completely stuffed and extremely pregnant, but I think I'm going to have another slice of that dessert. Or maybe two . . . hee! Oh yes. And happy happy 30th birthday to my seeeeester!!!!!!!!!! Happy birthday Aim. Travel back home safely. See you guys tomorrow. Here's a little video Chloe put together for you with a little help from Dustin. :o)

Today's Layout of the Day at Two Peas

So in about three months we're expecting the arrival of baby #3.  It's been hard sitting on this little "secret" for the past several months.  I've been wanting to blog about it for so long now, but so many things (namely the two kiddos in my life) have kept me busy.  I can't believe that in March I will have three kids - a sassy three year old girly girl, an almost two year old rumbunctious boy and a newborn.  Crazy, I know.  But you know what?  I'm really looking foward to being a momma of three, just not looking forward to the extra gray hairs.  ;)

Thank you to those who left Cadence and me the sweet birthday wishes!  We apprecite it.

3 and 31

Cadence turned three years old today!  We started off the morning by giving her a super cute outfit from Gymboree that she wore on her special day.  We had lunch at Chuck E. Cheese and thank goodness none of the employees dressed up as Chuck E. and walked around or we would have had one freaked-out birthday girl.  Afterwards, we headed home to a Blues Clues themed "party" and to have our traditional white raspberry mousse birthday cake from Toni Marie's bakery.  Cadence favorite part of the day was opening her presents - a bunch of Bitty Baby accessories and a digital camera all her own.  A few photos from Cadence's day . . .

And yesterday, yours truly turned thirty-one.  It was a low-key birthday (I don't even have pictures to share), but it was a good one nonetheless.  My sister and her little family came over to watch the kids so that Ronald and I could go out on a date.  I can't even remember the last time we went out, just the two of us.  The weather was beautiful so we took advantage of it and walked around our local outdoor mall and then had dinner at one of the restaurants there called The Clubhouse.  I had their yummy chicken piccata for dinner, and for dessert I had creme brulee which was just fabulous!  After dinner we had planned on watching a movie, but there's nothing out I really want to see.  We headed to Borders instead and it was so nice being able to just sit and read through magazines and home decor books.  It was a very nice birthday indeed.

Halloween Recap

Took the kids trick-or-treating at the mall yesterday morning where we met up with Cousin Jakey and his girlfriend Cassidy.  I think Cadence enjoyed seeing all the costumed kids as much as she enjoyed getting candy.  A lot of people kept mistaking her as a pumpkin, but she was way too shy to tell them that she was Nemo. Clark stripped out of his Mickey Mouse costume after we had lunch in the food court.  Ronald and I had planned on taking them out on our street in the afternoon, but by the time he got home from work it was quite chilly out.  Cadence still has a cough and the kids and I just finished our last doses of antibiotics so I decided it was best to just stay home and pass out candy and Play-doh.
