The kids and I performed during the staff portion of our school's talent show last night. It took me almost eight hours total to make their costumes, and I think they turned out so cute! We sang "Little Bird, Little Bird" and "Three Little Birds", both covers of Elizabeth Mitchell. Our accompanist is our school's guitar teacher, and he is super talented! Bribery was most definitely involved in order to get the three to agree to perform on stage, and it was worth it. Now I'm off to purchase said bribe.
Miss Cadence as a whip-poor-will
Rocket, the chickadee
Momma bird, with her three birdies
Video footage!
And we can't forget Cousin Jakey, who played a piano duet with his daddy.
Hope you had a wonderful January!
Joy you and your little birds sounded incredible and luv the costumes....:)
